The Intersect Group is seeking a BI Analyst/Developer for our direct client, where you will join the technology team and serve as one of the Company’s Tableau, SQL and Snowflake developers. This role will support technology and business intelligence initiatives to deliver optimal returns on investment in coordination with the organization’s goals and core values with a focus on a “customer service” orientation.
Areas of responsibility include data management, development, database design, end user reporting and analytics needs as well as project prioritization and management.
Responsibilities:
Support the Technology and Business Intelligence teams through data integration, storage, reporting, analytics, monitoring and compliance phases
Contribute to information strategy for customer, finance, marketing and other key data areas
Build and maintain Franchisee relationships; Earn respect of franchisees and cultivate strong relationships; navigate challenging situations with professionalism and confidence
Offer creative and practical solutions; Utilize creativity and innovation in problem solving and applying appropriate methodologies relevant to the complexity of the challenge
Understand future opportunities; Closely monitor changes with data technologies and identify ways the company can improve and implement plans to achieve these objectives
Serve as the thought leader, business partner and team mentor for the full data & analytics lifecycle
Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for leveraging data to gain a competitive advantage
Develop and execute the business intelligence strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
Work alongside other BI team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Ensure that data and analytics practices comply with relevant data protection and privacy regulations and security standards and protocols
Experience/Abilities Requirements:
2+ years of experience in BI/Analytics at growth companies with a proven track record
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Proficiency in BI tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight or similar platforms
Good experience in data visualization, statistical analysis and data reconfiguration
Strategic thinking and the ability to align BI initiatives with business objectives
Strong communication and presentation skills, with a focus on understanding and communicating the company’s core business
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security best practices
Track-record of contributing to highly effective BI teams with a customer service and partnering mindset
Experience building & maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across departments
Depth of experience implementing suitable technology for efficient data loading, governance and reporting capabilities required
Experience in a metrics-driven company (especially Private Equity owned) is ideal
