With continued expansion across the data center market, they are looking to add a strategic and commercially driven Business Development Manager to their team.
About the Role
This role will focus on driving early-stage engagement within the data center sector across the United States, with a strong emphasis on originating opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and positioning the company as a trusted infrastructure partner.
The ideal candidate will be highly relationship-oriented, commercially minded, and experienced in navigating long sales cycles with enterprise-level clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and originate new business opportunities across hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, EPCs, and engineering firms
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers
- Drive early-stage engagement strategies to position the company on upcoming projects
- Manage stakeholder relationships, track project pipelines, and create visibility into emerging opportunities
- Initiate and lead commercial discussions while collaborating closely with technical and operational teams
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
- Support market expansion efforts and contribute to long-term growth strategy within the data center sector
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies within mission-critical infrastructure
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, strategic sales, or commercial leadership roles
- Background within infrastructure, energy, utilities, environmental solutions, industrial services, or data center ecosystems preferred
- Experience working with hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, EPCs, or large enterprise clients is highly desirable
- Strong ability to identify opportunities early and build relationships across complex stakeholder environments
- Demonstrated success managing long, consultative sales cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
