Sunex, a global leader in advanced optical solutions for Automotive, Security/Surveillance, Medical, Robotics, and Video Conferencing markets, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This role combines consultative technical sales with business development in new and emerging markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with customers to understand requirements and provide tailored imaging solutions.
  • Develop new business opportunities while growing relationships with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and overseas manufacturing teams to deliver customer-focused results.
  • Represent Sunex at trade shows and industry events to drive lead generation.
  • Provide technical sales support, quotations, and proposals to close deals.

What We’re Looking For

  • BS/MS in Optics, Physics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (optics/imaging preferred).
  • 3–5 years of consultative, customer-facing technical sales or business development experience.
  • Knowledge of imaging optics or digital imaging systems; Code V or Zemax familiarity is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, motivated, and willing to travel up to 25% (domestic/international).
