Overview: Prime Capital Financial has an exciting opportunity for a Wealth Consultant (Business Development Associate) who will serve as the first voice of our organization, playing a critical role in shaping the beginning of the client journey. The ideal candidate is an energetic and driven relationship builder with a genuine passion for sales who thrives on connecting with prospective clients, understanding their financial goals, and guiding them toward meaningful conversations with our advisor team. This role is responsible for making daily outbound sales calls, managing inbound inquiries, and conducting sales activities directly with prospects. This is an exciting entry point into the wealth management industry, offering direct exposure to the sales process, advisor teams, and high-quality client relationships, with a competitive base salary and variable compensation tied to performance. For this role, we are looking for candidates who will work in person at our Overland Park Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of daily outbound calls, emails, and follow-up outreach to prospective clients who have expressed interest, while managing inbound inquiries and scheduling discovery meetings with Prime Capital Financial advisors.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop quality sales opportunities by engaging prospects through consultative conversations to understand their financial goals and assess their readiness to meet with an advisor.
  • Clearly and enthusiastically communicate Prime Capital Financial's value proposition, service offerings, and planning philosophy, partnering with the Marketing team to stay current on active campaigns and messaging.
  • Accurately maintain all prospect interactions, appointments, and outcomes in Salesforce, utilizing the firm's CRM tools to prioritize work queues and ensure proper data entry and reporting.
  • Build and maintain a working knowledge of the financial services industry, including compliance with applicable securities rules and regulations, current market trends, and the firm's full suite of offerings.
  • Participate in an open-communication team environment, contributing to shared goals and completing additional duties and special projects.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Prior experience in financial services, inside sales, relationship management, or client services strongly preferred, with a demonstrated track record of producing consistent results.
  • Series 65 required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Licensing fees are covered by the firm.
  • Strong phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and motivate prospective clients.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to accurately manage high volumes of prospect activity.
  • Positive, solutions-focused attitude with a high degree of flexibility, professionalism, confidentiality, and personal integrity.
