In Delano, we serve over 1,800 students in grades TK-12, while in Lost Hills, we serve over 400 students in grades TK-12.

Job Description

The Business and Operations Office Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Business Office and Operations Department to maintain an efficient office environment.

Essential job duties:

  • File for Business and Operations Department
  • Manage incoming calls, provide customer assistance, route messages, and operate standard office equipment
  • Coordinate and schedule staff travel arrangements for conferences and related events
  • Maintain and manage Outlook calendars for the Business and Operations Department
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics for student events including the management of the district calendar
  • Process, scan, and maintain accident claim documentation for Operations
  • Submit and track IT service requests for the Business and Operations Department
  • Print and scan requests for various payment methods through the Procurify system
  • Create and issue staff identification badges and access key cards
  • Manage student uniform supply and sales inventory, including required data entry, for Lost Hills and Delano sites, with travel to Lost Hills as needed
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail daily
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable successful experience working in an office environment
  • High School diploma required.
  • Clearance of FBI/DOJ
  • TB clearance 
  • Mandated reporter certificate

Working Conditions:

  •  Environment: Office environment; fast-paced work, constant interruptions. 
  • Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange information, make presentations and communicate over the telephone; seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents and view computer monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects; ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct business. 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Pay Range: $19.00- $22.00/hour. Final compensation will depend on skills & experience.
