Job Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst helps connect the business team and the technology team. Their job is to understand what the business needs, turn that into clear instructions for developers, and make sure the final solution works the way it should.

They work on both projects and day-to-day support, focusing on improving processes, making systems work better, and ensuring everything follows insurance rules and regulations.


  • Act as the main point of contact between business teams and IT, making sure both sides are aligned.
  • Talk with stakeholders to understand their needs and turn them into clear requirements
  • Lead meetings to define goals, priorities, and project scope.
  • Write out clear requirements and acceptance criteria so developers know exactly what to build.
  • Help test systems (User Acceptance Testing) to make sure everything works correctly.
  • Support insurance systems (like policy rating and issuance) and ensure they follow business rules and regulations.
  • Look for ways to improve processes and make workflows more efficient.
  • Communicate updates, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain documentation and user guides.
  • Support both small and large projects, while also helping with day-to-day system needs.
  • Become a go-to expert on specific systems, products, or processes.


Pay: $39-44/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
