Bulk Truck Unloader 1st Shift

Summary

The Bulk Truck Unloader is responsible for properly unloading products into the silos.

Essential Functions

• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Willing to work outside the majority of the day.
• Person must not be afraid of heights.
• Receive paperwork on the incoming product from the Truck Driver.
• Break the seal and take the sample to lab for product verification. 
• Hook the truck up properly to unload product.
• Product is unloaded through the sifter house into the silo.
• Verify the truck is unloaded properly into the correct silo.
• Completes and maintains paperwork as needed.
• Follows safety & sanitation rules.
• Keeps area and sifter house clean.
• Help clean the silos as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months experience in a food production/ food manufacturing environment.
• Job requires constant standing, lifting, and moving product a majority of the day.

Work Environment

The job is performed in the warehouse and production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, and airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery
