Building Maintenance Technician - Audi Sarasota

We are looking for a dependable, experienced Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance at Audi Sarasota, a proud Sunset Automotive Group dealership. This position includes a mix of general maintenance and light janitorial duties to support a clean, professional environment for customers and employees.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report issues as needed
• Maintain showroom, service workshops, offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, use of automatic ride on floor cleaning machine, dust, and empty trash
• Clean glass surfaces, doors, and high-traffic areas
• Restock restroom and breakroom supplies
• Assist with exterior upkeep including entrances and parking areas
• Coordinate with vendors for larger repairs when necessary
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance and janitorial experience preferred (1–3 years)
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the shift

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
