Company Description

FANCI GLOBAL is an international fine jewelry company renowned for creating pieces that symbolize love and connection. Established in New York in 2017, it encompasses two distinct brands: Fanci Me, focusing on lifestyle jewelry for everyday moments, and Agvana, offering sustainable luxury through lab-grown diamonds. Generating over $160 million in annual sales and employing more than 400 people globally, FANCI GLOBAL reaches customers in the United States, Japan, China, and Europe. Headquartered in New York, the company emphasizes artistry, innovation, and sustainability in its globally inspired designs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and visionary Brand Visual Design Manager to lead FanciMe’s visual transformation. In this role, you will be the "aesthetic anchor" for the brand in the U.S., responsible for defining and executing a highly elevated, globally appealing visual identity.

You will oversee everything from website UI/UX aesthetics and social media content to campaign art direction. A critical part of this role is bridging the gap between NYC brand strategy and our global execution teams. Fluent Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to ensure seamless, day-to-day collaboration with our content and design teams based in China.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Identity & Art Direction: Evolve and unify FanciMe’s visual universe. Define core visual assets (typography, color palettes, lifestyle photography guidelines) to transition the brand from a traditional "e-commerce catalog" look to an editorial, premium demi-fine aesthetic.
  • Digital & Web Design: Elevate the FanciMe DTC website experience (fanci.me). Design visually compelling landing pages, email campaigns (Klaviyo), and digital ads that resonate with Gen-Z and Millennial consumers in North America.
  • Content & Creative Strategy: Conceptualize and provide art direction for photo and video shoots (campaigns, lifestyle, and still-life). Ensure all visual assets reflect our core narrative of "meaningful connections" and "everyday layering/styling."
  • Cross-Border Collaboration (NYC & China): Act as the creative bridge between the NYC marketing team and the China-based execution team. Create clear visual briefs, style guides, and templates to empower the global team to produce high-volume content that meets NYC aesthetic standards.
  • Brand Guardianship: Review and approve visual assets across all touchpoints (social media, website, packaging, PR materials) to ensure strict adherence to the new global brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in art direction, visual design, or brand design, preferably within the DTC, fashion, demi-fine jewelry, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Language: Native/bilingual proficiency in English and fluent Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) is required for effective cross-border communication.
  • Technical Skills: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. Experience with video editing (Premiere/CapCut) and motion graphics is a major plus.
  • Aesthetic & Taste: A highly refined eye for modern, clean, and editorial design. Deep understanding of current U.S. visual trends, Gen-Z/Millennial aesthetics, and social-first content (IG/TikTok).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to build visual systems, direct lifestyle photography, and design premium e-commerce experiences. (Applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
  • Work Style: Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and highly collaborative. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment within a larger global company.

Why Join Fanci?

  • A rare opportunity to rebuild and define the visual identity of a rapidly growing global brand.
  • Work in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment right on 5th Avenue in NYC.
  • Direct impact on bridging creative cultures and shaping a new category of "relationship jewelry."
