Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Branch Operations Officer to support daily branch operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team in delivering excellent customer service.

This role is ideal for a banking professional with a strong background in branch operations, compliance, and team leadership, looking to grow into a high-impact position.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Compliance

• Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, audits, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations (BSA, AML, KYC)
• Monitor large transactions, overdrafts, and operational reports
• Maintain branch security, controls, and audit readiness

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise, train, and mentor branch staff
• Manage employee schedules, performance, and development
• Support the Branch Manager in achieving operational and business goals

Customer Service

• Handle escalated customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with account openings, complex transactions, and client requests
• Ensure a high standard of service across all customer interactions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of banking experience
• 4+ years in branch operations and supervisory roles
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
• Experience in team leadership and performance management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems
• Notary Public certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
