Brakes Repair Technician

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated Brakes Repair Technician to join their team. As a Brakes Repair Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting skilled technicians and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Brakes Repair Technician

Location: Westminster, MD

Pay Range: $20.55

Shift: 1st 

What's the Job?

• Assemble components such as sub-assemblies, brake units, door motor drives, wiring harness, and detail parts at the assembly bench.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment in compliance with company policies.
• Perform cleaning of machinery and equipment, including compressors and brake equipment, using various cleaning methods.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment as instructed.
• Support team members and assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisors or senior personnel.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or equipment maintenance.
• Ability to understand and comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AAR, and CMMI.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
