Brake Press Operator | First & Second Shift | Woodlawn, OH

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machinery and will be responsible for producing high-quality metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of blueprints, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate various sizes of brake press equipment (prefer experience with Cincinnati Incorporated equipment or similar)
• Perform all needed set-up and lay-out of equipment, tooling and jobs
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs and instructions
• Check parts to drawings and specs using tooling and gauges (calipers and micrometers etc.) as needed
• Perform forming to specified parameters
• Log all production activity into computerized production management system (JobBoss)

Requirements:

• 2+ years brake press experience
• Ability to assist cell leader in quoting new projects
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance for equipment
• Have valid forklift license to assist with material handling
• Recent job-shop experience
• Experience running roll-forming equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct any forming issues
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining or metal fabrication is a plus.

Schedule:

First Shift-6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

Second Shift-2:30pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday

Pay:

$18-$27/hr paid weekly
