Job Description
We are seeking an experienced BPI Architect with strong expertise in Ciena Blue Planet solutions to join a leading enterprise client in Denver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and governing end-to-end network automation, orchestration, and inventory solutions using Blue Planet platforms.
This role requires a deep understanding of OSS/BSS ecosystems, telecom network operations, cloud-native architecture, and industry standards such as TM Forum.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architectures using Ciena Blue Planet products including:
- Blue Planet MDSO (Multi-Domain Service Orchestration)
- Blue Planet Inventory (BPI)
- Blue Planet Analytics
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient solutions for:
- SDN (Software Defined Networking)
- NFV (Network Functions Virtualization)
- Multi-domain orchestration
- Define logical, physical, and deployment architectures integrating OSS/BSS systems
- Ensure all solutions are cloud-native, highly available, scalable, and secure
- Translate business requirements into solution blueprints, HLDs, and LLDs
- Provide technical leadership and governance across Blue Planet implementations
- Guide engineering teams on architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Review solution designs, deployments, code, and migration strategies
- Ensure compliance with TM Forum standards and telecom industry frameworks
- Support transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Ciena Blue Planet products
- Experience in Telecom OSS/BSS architecture
- Strong understanding of network inventory, orchestration, automation platforms
- Experience with cloud-native / microservices environments
- Knowledge of SDN / NFV ecosystems
- Strong documentation experience (HLD / LLD / Architecture Blueprints)
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Blue Planet / BPI Certification preferred
- Experience in enterprise telecom transformation programs
