The Biostatistician will work with physician scientist investigators who have research studies largely dependent on clinical data extracted from the electronic medical record. The Biostatistician may have multiple projects with various investigators ongoing simultaneoulsy and spanning a variety of health disciplines. This ideal candidate will be experienced in data processing, analysis and reporting and have coding experience in either R or Python.
Responsibilities include:
Directs the development and provision of clinical statistical expertise and support for the department providing superior statistical foundations for assigned research and investigations.
Provides consultation and direct support in study design, data collection, data analysis, statistical programming, interpretation and dissemination of results (both written and oral), and investigative protocol review while contributing to a cooperative environment among Scripps system-wide investigators and administrative staff.
