A Brief Overview
• The Imaging Specialist III works with minimal supervision, serves as a trainer/mentor to Imaging Specialist I and II.
• The Imaging Specialist III is responsible for performing the repairs, quality control checks and preventive maintenance as required on an array of imaging equipment, is experienced in the theory & operation of a variety of imaging modalities such as X-Ray, R/F, Cath Lab/Angio, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine with the ability to work independently or within a team-based environment to provide a timely & effective response to all requests for service.
• Recognized as a field modality expert. Highly competent in area of specialty, spending 70% or time or more in repairing, inspecting, installing, troubleshooting, and calibrating equipment in area of specialty. Serves as a front-line responder for escalated service events.
• Experienced in the use of applicable test equipment such as a DVM, Oscilloscope, Dosimeter, Signal Generator, Pattern Generator, High Voltage Analyzer, and Ohmmeter.
• Possesses excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with equipment codes and standards.
• Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possesses good time management skills.
• Ensures all scheduled monthly assignments are 100% completed in the month they are scheduled.
• The Imaging Specialist III will serve as a technical consultant to the Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Modalities. They must be flexible in his/her work schedule, take after hour calls, and respond as necessary to meet the needs and demands for imaging modalities throughout the hospital.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of clinical equipment including networked medical systems.

SALARY RANGE:
$47.51 - $60.58 HourlySalary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
