Job Summary:
- Prepare and process biological samples, reagents, buffers, solutions, test articles, and culture media to support service and research activities.
- Perform primary cell culture activities, including routine maintenance, feeding, and media changes.
- Support surgical tissue collection and processing procedures involving human tissues.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot standard laboratory equipment, including pH meters, analytical balances, osmometers, and hot plate/stirrers.
- Maintain laboratory inventories by monitoring supplies, ordering materials, and restocking consumables.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in the development and revision of laboratory procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and document experimental activities.
- Perform routine laboratory housekeeping, including glassware cleaning, non-hazardous waste disposal, and occasional biohazard waste handling.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to support project goals.
- Review scientific literature as needed to support laboratory activities and ongoing projects.
- Assist with drug testing studies evaluating the effects of compounds on human cells and tissues.
- Analyze experimental data and contribute to technical reports and study documentation.
- Support internal drug discovery and client-sponsored research programs.

Education and Experience
- B.S. degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field required
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting
- Hands-on cell culture experience strongly preferred
