Duration: 12 Months Contract
Duties:
- The position involves agrobacterium transformation to generate plants, greenhouse experience, and lab keeping. Willing to work occasional early mornings and late evenings, M-F.
Skills:
- The individual should possess strong verbal and written skills, be team-oriented and self-motivated.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Familiarity and/or experience with tissue culture, sterile technique, germplasm and agrobacterium-based corn transformation are a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in plant biology, plant breeding, microbiology and at least 1 years of lab experience
