About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our Design Engineering team. In this role, you will develop accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready 3D models that support project delivery and product development initiatives.

You will play a key role in ensuring designs are fully integrated, clash-free, and aligned with customer and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using industry-standard design and coordination software
  • Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to create coordinated system models
  • Perform BIM modeling and clash detection to identify and resolve coordination issues
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and constructability
  • Generate construction documentation, material take-offs, and fabrication drawings from BIM data
  • Maintain BIM standards, file structures, and version control processes
  • Support BIM execution planning and implementation of company-wide modeling standards
  • Update models in response to design changes, RFIs, and field mark-ups
  • Participate in project coordination meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of modeling workflows

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay current with BIM technologies, software developments, and industry best practices
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
  • Support quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable standards
  • Report compliance or ethical concerns through appropriate channels when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  • 2–5 years of BIM modeling and coordination experience
  • Strong proficiency in BIM modeling and clash detection workflows
  • Experience with:
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • Onshape
  • Navisworks (preferred)
  • Experience producing construction documents, fabrication drawings, and material take-offs from BIM models
  • Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems integration
  • BIM certification preferred (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
