About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our Design Engineering team. In this role, you will develop accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready 3D models that support project delivery and product development initiatives.
You will play a key role in ensuring designs are fully integrated, clash-free, and aligned with customer and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using industry-standard design and coordination software
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to create coordinated system models
- Perform BIM modeling and clash detection to identify and resolve coordination issues
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and constructability
- Generate construction documentation, material take-offs, and fabrication drawings from BIM data
- Maintain BIM standards, file structures, and version control processes
- Support BIM execution planning and implementation of company-wide modeling standards
- Update models in response to design changes, RFIs, and field mark-ups
- Participate in project coordination meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of modeling workflows
Additional Responsibilities
- Stay current with BIM technologies, software developments, and industry best practices
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
- Support quality assurance and quality control processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable standards
- Report compliance or ethical concerns through appropriate channels when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
- 2–5 years of BIM modeling and coordination experience
- Strong proficiency in BIM modeling and clash detection workflows
- Experience with:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Onshape
- Navisworks (preferred)
- Experience producing construction documents, fabrication drawings, and material take-offs from BIM models
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems integration
- BIM certification preferred (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
