Hexagon | Multivista is seeking a talented BIM Specialist to provide consulting services to key customers in the AEC industry.


This position requires working directly with our customers in New York/New Jersey to deliver BIM consulting services including BIM Standards and Guidelines development, BIM Libraries and Content creation, BIM deliverables auditing, Software Training and Technical Support during the entire project lifecycle (Design, Construction and Operations).

The position combines your technical skills with your consultancy skills that come from your years of industry experience and know-how.


JOB DUTIES

Services to be performed by the candidate may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Scope and plan BIM implementation efforts on upcoming projects.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure project BIM needs are fulfilled effectively.
  • Define, develop and provide technical training in BIM technology and tools.
  • Provide implementation services, best practices, advisory services, and support.
  • Serve as a proactive trusted technical advisor to deeply understand stakeholders' needs.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that projects are organized and executed consistently according to company standards and processes.
  • Provide support during the development of Implementation processes, workflows, and guidelines for internal and external use.
  • Create and manage processes, priorities, and ownership for deliverable workstreams.
  • Demonstrates excellence in strategic thinking, innovation, engagement planning, process optimization, and communications.
  • Provide value-based services which deliver measurable, tangible business outcomes for the customer.


What you will do on a day to day basis:

  • Be responsible for ensuring that projects are organized and executed consistently according to company standards and processes.
  • Provide support during the development of Implementation processes, workflows, and guidelines for internal and external use.
  • Create and manage processes, priorities, and ownership for deliverable workstreams.
  • Attend project meetings and help to lead workshops.
  • Perform BIM Audits to ensure consistency with company BIM Requirements and Standards.
  • Improvements of existing client BIM Standards and Guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to BIM users.
  • Prepare and handoff BIM Training.
  • Evaluate and introduce new BIM technologies that can help the projects.


EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering or related degree.
  • Live in NY/NJ or willing to relocate to this area.
  • +5 years of experience participating and/or coordinating BIM projects.
  • +5 years of professional experience in BIM software and modeling tools.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing BIM software and/or process training.
  • Experience delivering projects following BIM methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, ReCAP, Autodesk Construction Cloud is a must.
  • Experience using Civil 3D, Infraworks, Synchro, Dynamo is a plus.
  • Experience in drafting, content creation, modeling and coordination is required.
  • Fully committed and self-driven.
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule assigned tasks and duties.
