Billing Specialist

LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing entertainment company headquartered in Midtown Manhattan on this Billing Specialist role. We are looking for candidates on a temp-to-hire basis to join an expanding finance team. The ideal candidate will have WIP billing experience, can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can manage the full billing lifecycle with accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle billing process, including WIP review, analysis, and conversion to invoices
  • Prepare and issue accurate, timely client invoices based on contracts, billing schedules, and project milestones
  • Monitor and maintain WIP balances, ensuring proper tracking, adjustments, and aging
  • Review and analyze billing data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
  • Run and reconcile AR aging and billing reports to support financial visibility
  • Assist with cash application and revenue tracking as needed
  • Support audit requests and maintain proper billing documentation and compliance


Qualifications

  • 1+ year of billing experience
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities


Compensation: $32 - $36/hr, depending on experience.
