Billing Specialist / Automotive Billing Clerk

What We're Looking For

Planet Automotive Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Billing Specialist / Automotive Billing Clerk to join our dealership accounting office in Golden, Colorado. This position is responsible for processing vehicle deals accurately, remitting product sold in and outside of car deals, reconciling schedules, and supporting daily accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Post retail, lease, cash, and house deals daily
• Process deals in DealerBuilt or dealership software
• Review deal paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Daily remit of warranties, Gap and other products sold
• Process check requests and related documents
• Reconcile schedules and statements
• Run reports and resolve outstanding deal issues
• Communicate with management regarding open items and priorities
• Assist with additional accounting office duties as needed

Qualifications

• Prior dealership billing, title, accounting, or office experience - 1+ years preferred
• Knowledge of debits, credits, and journal entries preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Professional communication skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• DealerBuilt or dealership DMS experience preferred
