We are partnering with a professional services organization to identify an experienced E-Billing Manager to co-lead and manage e-billing operations.


This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely billing processes while supporting internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships.


This is a leadership opportunity for someone who combines deep legal billing expertise with strong operational and team management capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


• Co-lead and oversee the end-to-end e-billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines

• Review, submit, and manage e-bills through electronic billing platforms

• Supervise and support a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and resolving escalations

• Ensure timely generation, review, and distribution of invoices

• Collaborate cross-functionally with attorneys, clients, and internal departments to address billing inquiries and discrepancies

• Monitor billing performance, revenue trends, and reporting metrics

• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of service throughout the billing cycle

• Ensure compliance with legal billing standards and client-specific requirements


Qualifications


Required:

• 7+ years of legal billing experience, preferably within a law firm environment

• Proven experience managing or leading a billing team

• Hands-on experience with Elite 3E billing software

• Strong understanding of legal billing practices and compliance requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities


Preferred:

• Experience with time and expense management systems


Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
