Job Description

We are seeking an experienced BOM Specialist with Epicor ERP experience to support a key initiative aimed at enhancing BOM accuracy and managing inventory consumption. The ideal candidate will independently update existing BOMs and create new ones within Epicor, contributing to the alignment of BOMs with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and create Bills of Materials (BOMs) directly in Epicor ERP.
• Audit BOM structures to identify issues impacting inventory accuracy and material consumption.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and inventory teams to validate BOM components, quantities, and routings.
• Ensure BOM changes are aligned with production processes, inventory transactions, and costing.
• Help reduce inventory discrepancies related to over- or under-consumption.
• Document changes and maintain BOM accuracy standards throughout the project.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (manufacturing module required).
• Proven experience creating and maintaining BOMs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory transactions and material consumption.
• Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and production processes.
• Ability to assess existing data quickly and implement corrective updates.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting inventory cleanup or ERP data-cleanup initiatives.
• Understanding of routings, backflushing, or standard costing in Epicor.
• Prior contract or project-based manufacturing systems work.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a fast-paced, project-based environment, utilizing Epicor ERP systems. The candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and engage with various teams to ensure BOM accuracy and effective inventory management.

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, TN.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Portland,TN.

This position is anticipated to close on Apr 20, 2026.
