Subject Matter Expert in Health & Welfare benefits administration, including active and retiree medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, spending accounts, life and disability insurance, employee assistance programs, wellness initiatives, and voluntary benefit
s.Comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans and tuition assistance program
s.Support benefits implementation, administration, and communications for active employees, retirees, faculty, and staf
f.Provide front-line customer service through phone, email, ticketing systems, and service centers, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of employee and retiree inquirie
s.Research, analyze, and resolve complex benefits-related issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendor
s.Ensure compliance with benefits policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements through consistent administration and documentation practice
s.Monitor and evaluate process workflows, performance metrics, and trend analyses to identify opportunities for continuous improvemen
t.Conduct detailed investigations and research related to escalated benefits matters, including retiree and active employee case
s.Support retirement processing, new hire orientations, open enrollment activities, benefits expos, and employee health screening event
s.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly and effectivel
y.Demonstrated customer service expertise with a focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and employee satisfactio
n.Experience utilizing HRIS platforms, including PeopleSoft, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and relational database
s.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or CEBS certification preferre
d.3–5 years of benefits administration experience or 5–7 years of HR Generalist experienc
e.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, conduct comprehensive research, and support cross-functional HR initiative
