Behavioral Health Safety Coach

Fairfax Hospital Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift (3 x 12hour shifts, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm)

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern.
• Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee. Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting. 
• Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization.

• Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

   

Minimal Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent 
• Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience
• Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start from the American Heart Association- Upon Start. Crisis Prevention Institute Within 3 Months

Preferred:

• Psychiatry, Mental Health and Behavioral Health background
