Operational leadership -Directing Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement, and Utilization Review to ensure managed care quality functions are well coordinated and support clinical operations.
Regulatory readiness -Leading preparation for DHCS and EQRO reviews, ensuring documentation, utilization oversight, and Medi Cal claiming practices are consistent, accurate, and audit ready.
Practical workflows -Translating state requirements such as BH CONNECT and BHSA into clear internal workflows, roles, and expectations that staff can realistically implement.
Accreditation support -Supporting the transition toward NCQA Behavioral Health accreditation standards, strengthening how the plan tracks performance, monitors quality, and demonstrates accountability.
