Behavior Technician

Bertling ABA is a clinician owned company that takes care of their staff!! We provide in home, center based, daycare and school based services to children with Autism in Lemont and surrounding communities.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Behavior Technician, located in Bolingbrook, IL. The Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans, tracking and recording data, and working closely with children to develop their social, communication, and daily living skills. The day-to-day tasks include providing one-on-one therapy sessions, assisting with skill development, and maintaining accurate progress records under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Minimum of 3 evenings and a Sat or 4 evenings availabilty required. Must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in implementing behavior intervention plans and working with children with behavioral challenges
• Skills in tracking and recording data, as well as maintaining progress records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is required
• Relevant certifications such as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) are a plus
