We’re partnering with a school in Boulder County, Colorado to hire dedicated Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician.
This Paraprofessional, or RBT role supports elementary students by assisting teachers with classroom instruction, providing direct student support, and helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and social growth.
Position Details:
- Start Date: 8/10/2026
- End Date: 5/21/2027
- Schedule: M-F part time and full time available
- School Year: 2026/2027
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering instructional activities and lesson plans.
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as directed, including academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support.
- Assist with classroom management, transitions, and daily routines. Implement accommodations and modifications outlined in student education plans under teacher or specialist guidance.
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior as required. Help maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred.
- Ability to follow instructional plans and work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
- Must meet state and district requirements for paraprofessionals.
