SUMMARY

Performs the removal of litter and debris from the beach.

Schedule: Schedule is night shift through Labor Day including most weekends and holidays with additional work available through October.

Salary: $20.75/hour for new hires and $21.17 for returning hires.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operates a tractor to remove litter and debris from the beach
  • Operates the tractor in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school or GED preferred, prior experience in operating large farm tractors with attachments or other heavy equipment is preferred.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license, must be able to pass all required alcohol/drug tests.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, write and discern written instructions.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to work rotating shifts, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays.
