The Bartender provides an exceptional guest drinking experience by crafting both classic and creative drinks that meet and exceed customer expectations. A successful Bartender is enthusiastic, engaging, and dedicated to delivering high-quality service in a friendly atmosphere.

TheBartenderprovides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group.He or she performs all responsibilities whiledemonstratingoutstanding customer serviceskillsrepresentative of Castle Royal Service.

Responsibilities

  • Assistwith overall alcoholic beverage preparation.
  • Use of jigger pouring, cutting fruit and other garnishes as needed
  • Follows local,stateand federal health standards, and follows recipes designed by onsite F&B leadership.
  • Assistswith the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the bar, dining room, walk-incoolersand all storage areas.
  • Performsadditionalresponsibilities as requested by the onsite F&B leadership.
  • Hand wash and/or use of industrialdishwashersfor glassware and other barware items.
  • Always follow sanitation policies

Education and Experience

  • Continuing education will be offered and administered as needed.
  • Excellent knowledgeof inmixing,garnishingand serving drinks.
  • Understanding ofbasic kitchen sanitation.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to takedirection.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work fast and effectively and stay focused under pressure.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time.

  • May berequiredto travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Maybe occasionallyrequiredtocover forfront desk staff at other communities within a reasonable commuting distance when needed.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and calloutsin a timely manner.
