Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications.
• Guiding guests through menu and drink options as well as Casino and hotel offerings.
• Taking orders from guests and returning these orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Keep area clean and orderly.
• Providing friendly and attentive service.
• Handling all cash transactions.
• Opening and closing inventories of all stock.
• Retaining knowledge of company policy and procedure regarding guest limitations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• Customer service.
• POS (point of sales) Software operating experience.
• Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude.
• Ability to read write and understand basic instructions.
• Knowledge of all bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations.
• Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.
• Ability to communicate with all departments and other team members.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
• Flexible schedule
• Working in a team environment.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• Six months to one year experience as a bartender.
• Obtain and maintain an Alcohol Beverage Control card, and any applicable health certificates.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
