Summary

As a Banquet House Attendant, you will be the backbone of events and help bring memorable moments to life. You'll play a critical role in setting the stage for unforgettable gatherings; from mastering Banquet Event Orders to ensuring each event space is pristine and welcoming. As a key player on our Banquets team, you will:

• Help set up and break down event spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in the Banquet Kitchen and event areas, including dishwashing and trash disposal.
• Stock necessary supplies and assist with guest requests and meal service as needed.
• Ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Required | Prior banquet, event, or similar experience
• Required | Friday - Sunday availability, minimum
• Required | Valid WA Food Worker Card (within 14 days after hire)
• Required | Valid WA Class 12/13 Alcohol Server Permit (within 60 days after hire)
• Desirable | Flexible availability
• Equivalent education, skills, and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical Demands. In this role, employees regularly communicate, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks like walking, climbing stairs, and manual handling. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds and frequent handling of 20-30 pounds are required. Good vision and concentration are also necessary for success.
• Work Environment. This position operates in both indoor and outdoor banquet settings, with variable temperatures and moderate noise. Flexibility is key to adapt to the diverse demands of banquet events.
