The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries group is part of Commercial Banking at J.P. Morgan. Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries focuses on small- and mid-cap companies that require traditional banking services in addition to investment banking solutions.
The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) includes coverage of Banks, Mortgage Finance, Diversified Finance and Insurance companies. You will support our Insurance banking practice, which provides solutions to insurance companies, insurance services firms and insurtechs including: Corporate Finance and Investment Banking products, Credit, Treasury Services, Asset Management and Securities Services.
The final level of the position will be determined at the time of an offer.
Primary duties include:
Prepare presentation and marketing materials for use in client meetings and transaction execution, covering topics such as financing alternatives, capital markets activity, capital structure and credit ratings
Participate in all phases of capital markets and syndicated and leveraged finance origination and execution
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate implied credit ratings, debt capacity, creditworthiness, and the impact of various capital structures
Conduct industry research and comparable company and transaction analysis
Coordinate efforts with deal team members and product partners across the Commercial Bank and the Corporate & Investment Bank
Support senior bankers with overall client management responsibilities, idea generation and business initiatives

Knowledge of corporate finance, credit, and other corporate and investment banking products
Possess or obtain within three months of hire the FINRA Series 79, Series 63 and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licenses
