B2B Sales Associate – Government & Education Sales (SLED)

Job Description
Focus Camera LLC is currently seeking a motivated B2B Sales Associate to join our growing Government, Education, and Corporate Sales team in Brooklyn, NY.
This role supports our B2B and SLED (State, Local, and Education) sales channel through lead generation, bid response management, quoting, and customer support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment with government and institutional customers.
Experience in photography or audio-visual products is preferred but not required.

Required Experience (Must Have)
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience using one or more of the following procurement or government sales platforms:
· TIPTAP
· OGS (New York State Procurement)
· PEPPM / PEPPME
· OMNIA Partners
· EMI
· GSA (General Services Administration)
· SLED-related procurement systems
Candidates do not need experience on all platforms but must have direct experience in at least one or more of the listed systems.
Responsibilities
· Support Government, Education, and Corporate sales initiatives
· Respond to RFPs, bids, and procurement opportunities (SLED/GSA/OGS and related systems)
· Generate and qualify B2B and government sales leads
· Prepare customer quotes and pricing proposals
· Collaborate with Account Executives on sales strategy and deal execution
· Identify and engage decision-makers within target accounts
· Conduct outbound calls and lead qualification activities
· Maintain and update CRM databases and prospect lists
· Process sales orders and ensure timely fulfillment of awarded contracts
· Provide customer support and post-sale follow-up
· Communicate product features, pricing, and contract terms clearly
Requirements
· 2–3+ years of B2B sales experience required
· Minimum 2 years of experience using at least one listed procurement/SLED platform required
· Experience in government, education, or institutional sales strongly preferred
· Strong outbound phone sales experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines consistently
· Photography or audio-visual product knowledge is a plus
