Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

  • Architect and implement integration solutions using Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Integration Account.
  • Define and standardize integration patterns for real-time, batch, and event-driven scenarios.
  • Design API gateway strategies including routing, throttling, caching, and transformation using APIM policies.

Development & Engineering

  • Utilize C# for custom API policies, data transformation in Logic Apps, and Azure Functions development.
  • Implement event-driven architectures using Event Grid, Event Hubs, and messaging services.
  • Develop and manage EDI/B2B integrations using X12, EDIFACT, AS2, and SFTP protocols.

Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and mentor integration developers and guide DevOps teams on best practices.
  • Establish governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance controls.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders to align integration strategies with business goals.

Operational Excellence

  • Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.
  • Maintain architecture documentation, interface contracts, and operational runbooks.
  • Support CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code implementations (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in system integration and solution architecture.
  • 3+ years working with Azure Integration Services:
  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • Service Bus, Event Grid/Event Hubs
  • Integration Account
  • Strong programming experience in C# and JavaScript for integration logic and serverless development.
  • Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth2, and JWT.
  • Solid knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and B2B integration protocols (AS2, SFTP).
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns (EIP), microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
