The High Net Worth Lending Product Management team is strategically focused on developing and executing plans that will position the HNW Lending Business for continued revenue growth, first-class risk management, operational efficiency, and service excellence. The person in this role is responsible for driving a world class experience for MSWM Financial Advisors and Clients. They will have responsibility for developing through reporting insights, initiatives that increase business growth, improve our competitiveness, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Across the HNW Lending Products, manage the client and field experience ensuring a world class experience
  • Manage the development of Securities Based Lending (SBL) product dashboards and reporting using toolsets such as Tableau and DataIKU
  • Reporting on SBL activity and trends including, but not limited to, product specific portfolio views, turn times, backlogs, resource allocation, etc.
  • Assist with the creation of presentations and management decks required to provide updates to management and present key data/metrics to management as necessary
  • Identify process improvement opportunities across product areas and systems with a focus on improving of client experience
  • Transform complex data sets into meaningful presentations for multiple levels of end-users.
  • Oversight of partner teams including Operations, Credit, and AML teams to ensure performance and risks are being properly managed and a high level of client experience is maintained
  • Assist in defining metrics and reporting to monitor success as new processes and product features are developed
  • Maintain a consistent level of attention to risk mitigation and data quality issues. Proactively raise risk areas to be addressed.

Required Experiences:

  • 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Experience with business intelligence toolsets such as Tableau and Data IKU and/or working with large complex data sets

Skills/Abilities:

  • Expertise in Excel, Data IKU, Tableau, and/or other analytical tools.
  • Strong MS Office 365 skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, Access, etc.
  • Ability to efficiently extract and analyze data, create value-added reporting and data intensive analysis for senior management
  • Ability to organize and execute projects and set a strategic direction
  • Ability to work across various functional areas Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology and Operations
  • Strong communication with ability to distill data findings to actionable insights for the business
  • Energetic person with the ability to demonstrate positive initiative and leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with and gain the confidence of cross-functional colleagues
  • Detail orientation with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand the suite of all banking & lending products

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
