This role focuses on the fabrication, assembly, and installation of avionics components for a full fly-by-wire spacecraft. You will build and install wire harnesses, data acquisition units, and sensors, perform wire routing and terminations, and support troubleshooting and repair activities. Using a variety of shop tools and equipment, you will help ensure that spacecraft avionics systems are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.

Work Environment
This position is based in an aircraft hangar environment with temperature control; however, humidity levels may be elevated due to the nature of aircraft components and processes. You will work around active manufacturing operations and avionics installations, using tools such as multimeters, soldering irons, crimpers, wire strippers, and cutters on a regular basis. Shifts are structured as either a 1st shift from Monday through Thursday or a 2nd shift from Thursday through Sunday, with the possibility of overtime depending on project needs. The role requires consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to strict safety, FOD prevention, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
