About the role

This role is responsible for managing the successful delivery of client projects from kickoff through completion. You’ll serve as the central point of coordination between sales, engineering, and the client—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to expectations. This is a highly cross-functional role that blends project management, logistics coordination, and client communication.


What you’ll own

  • Manage projects from handoff through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to client expectations
  • Lead internal and client kickoff meetings, status meetings, and project closeout meetings
  • Create, maintain, and manage project plans, timelines, and key milestones
  • Coordinate with internal teams to assign resources and ensure project readiness
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership and escalate risks or issues as needed
  • Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) with technical leads to confirm project scope, hardware, and services are aligned
  • Ensure engineering hours and project resources are appropriately allocated to meet project objectives
  • Coordinate delivery and acceptance of required client documentation, scheduling reviews when needed
  • Help maintain project accuracy, organization, and overall delivery quality throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout delivery
  • Conduct regular client check-ins and provide clear status recaps, timelines, and next steps
  • Manage expectations and proactively communicate changes, risks, or dependencies
  • Coordinate equipment storage, staging, shipping, and delivery logistics
  • Track order status, backorders, inventory availability, and equipment arrival timelines
  • Schedule site surveys, onsite work, and client access requirements
  • Coordinate background checks, fingerprints, badges, and network access as required for site entry

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of project management experience supporting engineering, technology, or professional services projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of project delivery principles, resource planning, timelines, and budget management
  • Ability to translate client needs and business opportunities into practical project solutions
  • Strong business acumen with comfort managing financial considerations, project costs, and overall project health
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to influence teams and drive accountability without direct authority
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, internal teams, and leadership
  • Decisive and solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to delegate effectively and coordinate cross-functional resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting State and Local Government and Education (SLED) clients
  • Experience with AV, audio, security camera, or access control technologies
