Overview

Group 1 Automotive is a fast-growing leader in automotive retail, and we are looking to add Entry-Level Automotive Technicians / Lube Technicians to our Buick GMC South team! If you’re eager to build a career in the automotive industry, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a company that invests in your growth. No extensive repair experience required; we provide training!

Start your automotive career with a company known for developing technicians from the ground up! ***Candidates must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an automotive technician training program to be considered***

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic vehicle maintenance
• Complete multi-point inspections and report findings to the service team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow dealership and manufacturer standards
• Participate in paid training to develop your technical skills

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an automotive technician training program to be considered

• Some hands-on automotive experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional attitude and team mindset
