Title: Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney (Flexible Hybrid)

Location: Warren, NJ

Salary: $140,000 - 165,000 - base, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Draft trust and estate documents tailored to clients' needs and goals
• Host consultations and client meetings in-person and remotely to execute signatures, answer questions, and conduct business succession planning
• Work alongside financial advisors to ensure plans are in place for clients
• Draft, review, and execute complex estate and business planning documents such as buy/sell agreements, life insurance trusts, GST Trusts, and charitable remainder trusts

Requirements

• A JD Degree and are admitted in NJ
• 3+ years of Trusts and Estates experience
• Experience working with both high-net-worth and business clients
• An ability to explain legal concepts to clients, ensuring they understand their estate plan
• Client relation skills with a strong sense of empathy for client situations

Bonus Experience (Not Required)

• A business planning background
• An LLM degree
• Experience utilizing Wealth Counsel
