Job Title: Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney (Litigation)

Salary: Starting from $100,000 (DOE)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join a dynamic litigation-focused law firm in Connecticut. This role offers the opportunity to handle cases end-to-end and take ownership of your work in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage personal injury cases from pre-litigation through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
• Conduct legal research and case strategy development
• Take and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers
• Represent clients in court, hearings, and mediations
• Handle Connecticut workers’ compensation cases from start to resolution
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff to drive case outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Strong background in plaintiff-side personal injury
• Experience with workers’ compensation cases (Connecticut)
• Licensed and in good standing to practice in Connecticut
• Experience with Connecticut state courts (required)
• Strong writing, research, and case management skills
• Confident in client interaction and courtroom settings

Nice to Have

• Federal court experience
• Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis)
• Exposure to trial work
