This is an Excepted Service Term Appointment not to exceed July 1, 2027, though it may be extended for a period not to exceed a total of four years. This position will automatically end at the conclusion of the appointment and cannot be converted to a permanent role. This appointment is tied to the Commissioner's term, which is currently scheduled to expire on July 1, 2027. If the Commissioner resigns before that date, your appointment will end on the same day.
