Responsibilities
- Become expertly familiar withCellScapeworkflow and hardware.
- Routinely conduct experiments as part of innovation and R&Dproduct developmentagendas.
- Perform experiments needed for hardware testing andworkflowimprovementrelated to multiplex immunofluorescence staining on theCellScapeplatform.
- Serve aspointof contact for field teams andparticipatein occasional instrument installations.
- Collaboratewithsoftware teamfor software testingduring instrumentdevelopmentand sustaining.
- Tissuepreparation, including sectioning (FFPE andcryosectioning).
- Establish and write documentation, SOPs and protocolsrelated toCellScapehardware maintenance and workflow execution.
- Perform lab experiments according to protocols andSOPsincluding documentation.
- Maintains laboratory notebooks, SOPdocumentsand computer databases.
- Assistwith analyzing data.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as BTA/CTA/MTA orBachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry,Opticsor relatedfield.
- Minimum of 3 years lab experience in microscopy field or Optics.
- Experience in testing microscope hardwareand microscope calibrationis preferred.
- Programing skills are preferred.
- Experienceto processtissue including sectioning and fixation.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and perform new protocols with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting.
- Capable of independent planning,evaluationand presentation of experiments and data.
- Strong problem-solvingskills.
- A passionfor working withnew technologies.
- A permanent working permitfor Germanyis necessary.
