Job Description:

We are seeking an Associate Scientist II to join our Molecular & Cellular Biology group supporting Large Molecules/Biologics product development and stability studies under cGMP. The role will perform sample testing, draft simple methods and result reports, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute laboratory testing to support biologics development and stability under cGMP.
  • Apply techniques including mammalian cell culture, sterile technique, and in vitro cell-based assays.
  • Perform ELISA assays for quantitative and potency readouts using fluorescence, luminescence, colorimetric, or MSD platforms.
  • Conduct molecular biology assays such as qPCR and PCR.
  • Support kinetic binding assessments using BLI or SPR.
  • Run flow cytometry as required by study plans.
  • Read and follow SOPs with attention to detail and train on 1–2 core methods.
  • Document work legibly, accurately, and thoroughly to meet regulatory compliance.
  • Draft simple methods, method forms, and result reports.
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to quality, safety, and ethical practices aligned with company culture and programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences.
  • Foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, or biochemistry principles.
  • Ability to apply basic scientific and laboratory concepts to testing activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with internal teams.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask and adjust to schedule changes.
  • Comfort working under deadlines while maintaining accuracy and detail.
  • No prior work experience required.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with in vitro bioassays such as reporter gene or proliferation assays.
  • Hands-on exposure to BLI, SPR, MSD, or flow cytometry platforms.
