Location: Onsite Carlsbad, CA 92008

Pay Rate: $16–$18/hr (W2)

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

Job Type: 6-Month Contract

The schedule is 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST, with some flexibility to work a later shift of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PST as needed. This is a heavy-handed operation requirement

Overview

The Associate Production Area Specialist I plays a key role in the manufacturing of high-quality golf clubs by ensuring that all components are accurately picked, handled, modified, and prepared for assembly. This position requires attention to detail, physical dexterity, and the ability to follow precise specifications to ensure that every component meets quality standards before entering the assembly line.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Verify component quality and confirm correct part numbers before use.
• Safely handle and transport components to various production stations.
• Modify components as required to ensure they meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Confirm that components adhere to required specifications for each production run.
• Operate equipment to grip and bend golf club shafts and club heads in accordance with design standards.
• Adjust equipment settings and modify components as needed to meet quality benchmarks.
• Alter and fine-tune components prior to final assembly.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow clear, written instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Familiarity with product styles and ability to identify part numbers accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills and sound decision-making abilities.
• Effective, professional communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
