OSG has partnered with a leading financial institution to identify an Associate Portfolio Manager to support a leading Corporate Banking team based in Miami, FL. This individual will play a key role in portfolio monitoring, credit analysis, and transaction execution across a diversified portfolio of corporate clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior banking professional to gain hands-on exposure to complex credit structures, portfolio management, and client-facing initiatives within a high-performing environment.
Key Functions:
Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Support
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring of a diversified corporate banking portfolio, ensuring adherence to credit standards and risk guidelines
- Track financial performance, covenant compliance, and key credit metrics across assigned relationships
- Support periodic portfolio reviews by identifying trends, risks, and potential early warning signals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolio reporting, including exposure tracking, risk ratings, and internal reporting materials
- Ensure credit files and documentation are complete, organized, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards
Credit & Transaction Execution
- Support underwriting efforts for new transactions, amendments, renewals, and restructurings through financial analysis and risk assessment
- Assist in preparing credit memoranda, financial models, and supporting documentation for internal approval processes
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate the loan closing process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to support documentation review and execution
Client & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, Credit teams, and Product partners to support client needs and ongoing portfolio management
- Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, internal discussions, and credit committees
- Provide responsive support on client inquiries related to portfolio activity, reporting, and transactions
Treasury & Product Support
- Partner with internal teams to support the implementation and maintenance of treasury and cash management solutions
- Monitor client product usage and assist in identifying opportunities to enhance client engagement
Strategic & Analytical Support
- Contribute to portfolio analytics and reporting to support decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Assist in ad hoc analyses, presentations, and projects for senior management
- Support efforts to improve portfolio performance and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or related financial services role
- Exposure to corporate or middle market lending preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with systems such as nCino is a plus
- Strong understanding of financial statements and basic credit principles
