Overview
To support our growth, we are seeking candidates with an interest in utility energy efficiency programs and knowledge of energy-efficient technologies associated with commercial building systems.As an Associate Operations Specialist, you willbe responsible foridentifyingopportunities for process improvements, sharing best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting thorough analyses of program operations.This position provides administrative and invoicing support. The role supports monthly invoicing activities, including report reconciliation, documentation tracking, and data entry into invoicing systems.
This is a remoterole,but candidate must be based in the Pacific Standard time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of the energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed.
Collaborate with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care teams.
Conduct analyses toidentifytrends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Assistwith processing incoming project applications.
Review project application forms and submittals to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.
Coordination with program staff, billing specialists, andprojectleads to support monthly invoicing timelines
Support basic quality control checks to ensure invoices are complete,accurate, and submitted on time
Assistwith documentation updates and process improvements related to invoicing and program administration
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field orAssociatesdegree with 2+ years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong time management, communication, and organization skills.
Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), withdemonstratedexperience in Excel.
Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Willingness to learn invoicing systems, charge codes, and compliance requirements
Preferred skills:
Knowledge of the utility market (specifically energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs and markets).
Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool).
Experience with advanced Microsoft data software such as SharePoint Lists and Power Automate.
Preferred Skills:
Energy Program Operations:Understanding ofutility-sponsored energy efficiency programs and commercial building technologies.
Process & Compliance Review: Skilled in reviewing project applications and ensuring adherence to program policies and procedures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care teams to support program delivery.
Analytical Thinking: Ability toidentifytrends and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.Ability to follow established processes and meet recurring monthly deadlines
Customer & Contractor Support: Capable of handling inquiries and coordinating follow-ups for inspections and surveys.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint Lists, and Power Automate.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$55,400.00 - $94,180.00Arizona Remote Office (AZ99)
