Associate Litigation Attorney

At Cooper Legal Firm PC, we are a dynamic and growing law firm practicing in real estate, estate planning, and business transactional and complex litigation matters. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to client success, we are seeking a talented and motivated litigation attorney to join our team. This position will require in court appearances and handling contested matters.

The ideal candidate will be a litigation focused attorney, strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills. This is not a position for someone who requires micromanagement but is a good fit for someone who likes academic challenges, learning, developing as an attorney, thinking through problems, and mentorship.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in North Carolina and South Carolina Bar Association
• Minimum of 1 years of legal experience
• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills
• Experience in litigation, civil, corporate, business, and/or real estate preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
