Robert Half is partnering with a growing, privately held commercial real estate company seeking an Associate General Counsel - Real Estate. This is a rare opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team in a high-impact role with a clear path toward General Counsel. The company offers a base salary up to $250,000, 20% bonus, 401(k) with company match, and full benefits, all in a professional, collaborative environment with no weekends, no late nights. This position is based on-site in Miami with some hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review and negotiate office and retail leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents
• Advise on the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate assets
• Manage day-to-day operational and contractual matters across the company's portfolio
• Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and vendor agreements
• Serve as a trusted internal advisor to leadership on legal, business, and strategic matters
• Identify legal risks proactively and take initiative in a small, fast-moving environment
Qualifications:
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Member of the Florida Bar or authorized as in-house counsel in the State of Florida
• 5+ years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm or in-house setting
• Experience in office and retail leasing; experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and financing
• Self-starter with strong business judgment and the ability to thrive in a growing organization
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
