Associate Director of QMS (Nutraceutical)

We are seeking an Associate Director of Quality Management Systems (Global). This role is responsible for overseeing the global Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across multiple regions and sites.

Must haves:

• Be able to travel 25% to domestic locations on the West Coast in the first 6 months.
• Strong leadership experience. Ability to mentor and groom junior associates.
• Nutraceutical or Bioscience experience is a must!
• Has previously supported Global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and harmonize global QA and QC teams across regions
• Oversee and maintain the global QMS
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, and international regulatory standards
• Manage audits, inspections, CAPA, and risk management processes
• Partner cross-functionally to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience, Biotechnology, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 8+ years of quality experience in bioscience or nutraceutical industries
• 5+ years leading internal & external QA/QC teams
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and audit management
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams in a remote environment
